Overview

In 2019, the CNRS celebrated the 80th anniversary of its creation. You can discover eight decades of research, exploration and discoveries through a thematic journey combining social issues and major transformations which asks essential questions about what our society will be like tomorrow to help imagine the future.

Scientists' contributions accompany this journey in images through 7 worlds - living worlds, ancient worlds, frozen worlds, virtual worlds, ocean worlds, distant worlds and the worlds of tomorrow.

The exhibition is available in English

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
