All image transfers of rights are non-exclusive and rights are never transferred for perpetuity.
Films for which the CNRS is a minority co-producer are excluded from all assignments. In this case, please contact the executive producer.
Rates are calculated by combining the various variables specific to each broadcast medium.
The extracts transferred are non-exclusive per 30-second indivisible and cumulative period per source.
The list of rates indicated is not exhaustive. An estimate will be sent for each request.
Discount: 10% on the total amount of the rights from 10 minutes onwards
For each transfer, technical and availability costs are added (VAT 20%)
- 50€ ex VAT for 1 to 2 extracts
- Fixed price of €150 excluding VAT for 3 or more extracts

The transfer of reproduction and distribution rights for photographs is reserved for the promotion of the CNRS.
However, in the context of transfers for audiovisual and cinematographic broadcasting, it is possible to acquire photographs at the rates below. Photographs may only be sold in this specific case.
Fixed price for research by our team of documentalists:
- 300 € excl. tax per half day
- 500 € excl. tax per day
