The Emox home robot (Awabot) inside the DOMUS Living Lab, an automated 3-room apartment installed in the premises of the Grenoble IT laboratory (LIG). All the commands (opening/closing the blinds, switching the electric kettle, the television or the lights on or off) can be activated via multiple interfaces and from a central control station. More precisely, all these devices are activated via Emox, shown in the foreground. The behaviour of both residents and operators was recorded to study how the presence of a robot affected the humans involved in the project.
