The Racu robot built by PhD students in robotics (Robodoc group) from the IT laboratory in Grenoble (LIG), seen here inside the DOMUS Living Lab, an automated 3-room apartment. All the commands (opening/closing the blinds, switching the electric kettle, the television or the lights on and off) in this apartment can be activated via multiple, especially robotic, interfaces. The behaviour of both residents and operators was recorded to study how the presence of a robot affected the humans involved in the project.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
