The stomoxys calcitrans, known as stable flies, is a biting fly which causes much harm on the Réunion Island and elsewhere. Gérard Duvallet, a medical entomologist at the CEFE (Center for Functional and Evolving Ecology) presents in this film the consequences of stable fly species which can be found on the island.
