Enregistrer la variation de masse au cours du temps d’un échantillon isolé sur 5 faces lors d’un changement d’environnement hygrothermique permet d’estimer le coefficient de diffusion de la face non isolée. On peut ainsi comparer les mesures faites sur des faces de bois brut avec celles faites sur des faces de bois avec badigeon.
