Nanocroissants en suspension dans une solution aqueuse. Les nanocroissants d'or sont utilisés pour le contrôle et la mesure de température locale. Ces nanoparticules agissent comme des nanosources de chaleur lorsqu'elles sont éclairées et leur mouvement de rotation, observé en champ sombre, permet de mesurer l'élévation locale de température.
