Ten samples that have made chemical history
These samples are kept in the "historical chemical library", collection of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, managed by the unit " Communication Molecules and Adaptation of Micro-organisms " (MCAM).
The MCAM unit (UMR7245 CNRS/MNHN) houses in its "collection room" precious samples, most of which are over a century old, which will be cleaned and inventoried in 2021 by the laboratory team.
