Des chercheurs du Centre scientifique de Monaco, extraient les tissus des squelettes du corail "Pocillopora damicornis", pour en étudier la composition. L'objectif est d'étudier la nutrition de ce corail dans les laboratoires du Centre de recherches insulaires et observatoire de l'environnement (CRIOBE), situé dans la vallée d'Opunohu à Moorea, Polynésie française.
