Nioro du Sahel in Mali has been twined with the town of Limours in France since 1983. In 1983, the twinning committee, with the help of the French Ministry for Cooperation and the Malian government, decided to equip the town with electricity. This report shows the electrification works and also many interviews of Nioro inhabitants, all having a passion with this revolution.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
