Most powerful telescope in the world (The)
The largest telescopes have a mirror that is 10 metres in diameter. The E-ELT will beat them by a factor of four! The decision to build this magnificent instrument, the European Extremely Large Telescope, should be made at the end of 2010. The Old Continent will then have the most powerful telescope in the world.
