Pour leur inventaire des espèces végétales, les chercheurs du programme Amazonie vont directement récolter les feuilles dans les arbres à identifier, sur le site de Saut Pararé en Guyane. Il y a jusqu'à 200 espèces d'arbres différents dans un hectare de forêt.
