Amazon Forest, shaped by the hand of man (The)
Philippe Descola, an anthropologist and the laureate of the 2012 Gold Medal of the CNRS, filmed in the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden of the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, talks about the Amazon rainforest, which is almost an artificial ecosystem, and about the different perception Achuar Indians have. They consider this forest as a garden, a space transformed by spirits.
