Yes, Baboons Can Also Reason By Analogy
At the CNRS Center for Primatology located in Rousset, France, Joël Fagot, a researcher from the "Laboratory for cognitive psychology" studies the animal cognition through a group of 29 baboons. He has just published a paper with an American homologue which demonstrates that baboons are able to reason by analogy without language.
