Mise en service d'un démonstrateur de propulsion navale propre (clean ship, clean sea) et innovante, à commande évoluée, constitué d’une Machine asynchrone à double alimentation (MADA) de 30 kW avec rapport de puissance stator/rotor unitaire et d’une "hélice virtuelle". L'objectif est de développer un double contrôle vectoriel garantissant la fiabilité opérationnelle et le rendement énergétique le meilleur possible de ce propulseur naval.
