Human kidney cells, known as HEK 293T, observed using an inverted microscope (20x magnification). These cells, infectable with the chikungunya virus, are used in work on drug candidates. This photograph was taken in the CNRS-ABIVAX cooperative laboratory attached to the Institute of Molecular Genetics of Montpellier (IGMM).
