Common lizard in one of the Cereep terrestrial mesocosms - Ecotron Ile-de-France, at Foljuif, Seine-et-Marne. These enclosures are used to study the impact of different parameters such as density, male/female ratio or habitat quality on small animal populations such as the common lizard. Cereep was set up to promote important experimental research and observational programmes focused on the relations between biodiversity and the operation of ecosystems in terrestrial and aquatic environments.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
