Fourmis légionnaires (en bas) en train de capturer des termites du genre "Odontotermes", dans la savane inondable du bassin de Bangweulu en Zambie. Ces fourmis capturent tous les invertébrés qu'elles rencontrent sur leur passage. Cependant, ces termites résistent parfois à leurs attaques grâce à leurs soldats qui produisent des substances chimiques répulsives.
