Porta di Nola, à Pompéi, ville antique qui fut entièrement ravagée en 79 après J.-C. par une éruption du Vésuve. La coupe de terrain laisse voir les couches de pierres ponces et de cendres laissées par les nuées ardentes lors de l'éruption.
