Biocapteur prototype combinant silicium et nanoparticules
Prototype de biocapteur basé sur la combinaison de silicium photoluminescent et de nanoparticules d'or. Le silicium est excité par une lampe UV (lumière bleutée) et il émet un rayonnement de photoluminescence qui donne une coloration rougeâtre aux échantillons. Ce rayonnement est recueilli par une fibre optique visible en haut de la photo, puis analysé avec un spectromètre. L'objectif de ce prototype est de développer un biocapteur compact capable de détecter des protéines de manière sélective.
