Taon capturé par des fourmis "Allomerus decemarticulatus" de Guyane qui habitent exclusivement dans la plante "Hirtella physophora". Ces fourmis construisent des pièges pour capturer des insectes et ensuite les consommer. L'association entre cette fourmi et la plante est un mutualisme : la plante fournit un logement aux fourmis sous la forme de poches situées à la base des feuilles et les fourmis protègent en contrepartie leur plante hôte contre les insectes herbivores. Station des Nouragues, Guyane.
