Bassin intramontagnard au Pérou. Au coeur des Andes, des bassins intramontagnards ont permis une occupation dense, principalement là où l'irrigation est possible. Au-delà de cette limite commence la montagne sèche, érodée, où le reboisement est une des seules solutions envisageables.
