Les capteurs de la station de Banizoumbou, au Niger, pendant la campagne AMMA, enregistrent le flux vertical d'aérosols terrigènes arrachés de la surface du sol par érosion éolienne. Le programme de recherche AMMA (Analyses Multidisciplinaires de la Mousson Africaine) étudie la mousson africaine et ses conséquences sur le continent africain et le reste du globe.
