Micaschistes et quartzites métamorphisés dans des conditions de moyenne pression/haute température (faciès des amphibolites). La surface de foliation, parallèle aux couches sédimentaires initiales est déformée par deux phases de plissement. Des plis à flancs parallèles (ou isoclinaux), au centre de la photo, sont replissés par des plis plus ouverts déversés vers la droite. Péninsule de Shandong, Chine.
