Datation par thermoluminescence du volcan le Sarcoui (chaîne des Puys, Auvergne, France). Les cendres brûlantes (en gris sur la photo) ont cuit un sol (en rouge) dont on va extraire des grains de quartz en vue de leur datation par thermoluminescence. Deux membres de l'équipe du LPC mesurent la radioactivité du sol avec un spectromètre gamma de terrain.
