Etude des Toradja. Motifs gravés et peints sur la balustrade de la véranda avec, au centre le motif pa'tedong, figurant de manière stylisée le buffle. De part et d'autre, deux motifs évoquant des végétaux, celui de droite : " Feuilles de momordique ", celui de gauche : " Des ficus qui se touchent ". En bas, retour au monde animal avec le motif " Les plumes de coq ". Kala'paran, département Tana Toraja, province de Sulawesi-Selatan, Sulawesi, Indonésie.
