Etude des Toradja. Les sépultures creusées à flanc de falaise avec les effigies en bois au balcon. La falaise constitue, pour ainsi dire, un "cimetière" étagé au sommet duquel se situent les tombeaux des plus nobles. De nos jours, nombre de statues funéraires anciennes ont disparu : elles ont été volées et vendues à des touristes antiquaires.
