Résumé

An expedition to the virgin expanse of Antarctica's Dome C, to take core samples down to a depth of about 1000 meters. From these, one can analyze the ice deposited over the last 30,000 years and discover how the climate and atmospheric pollution have changed over that time.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
