Neurones pyramidaux des couches corticales supérieures d’un cortex de souris "Brainbow". Cette technique génétique permet de marquer les neurones de manière individuelle, grâce à la combinaison de molécules fluorescentes produisant une centaine d’étiquettes de couleurs différentes. On peut ainsi visualiser les circuits neuronaux en distinguant clairement les neurones adjacents. Ce rendu 3D est obtenu grâce à la microscopie multiphotonique multicouleur sérielle ChroMS.
