Étude des effets d'une transition de phase très rapide lors d'une interaction laser-surface. Le matériau de choix est le silicium (cristal parfait, applications potentielles) ainsi que le germanium et les alliages de la colonne IV. Le chercheur optimise le réglage optique pour homogénéiser l’énergie du faisceau laser à moins de 1% de variation d’énergie sur un spot de 2 mm x 2 mm. Cette étude est réalisée dans le cadre du dopage laser (GILD : Gaz immersion laser doping).
