System for surface microstructuring using photopatterning. Photopatterning is used to control the geometry of cells, whose shape is variable, making it easier to produce statistics when a particular parameter is being studied. Research scientists use this to study how the mechanical properties of cells contribute to various processes, including infection in particular.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
