Analyse du contenu d'une seringue à gaz comprenant du monoxyde de carbone

Analysis of the contents of a gas syringe consisting of carbon monoxide (CO) in a gas chromatography device. This carbon monoxide comes from the conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) effected by an iron-based molecular catalyst and electrons supplied by a carbon electrode. This catalyst enables CO2 reduction that is considerably faster and more stable over time than the usual catalysts. The goal is to develop a process to exploit the carbon dioxide, one of the principal greenhouse gases.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
