Echantillon mis en place sur un porte-objet, avant son insertion et son analyse dans un microscope électronique en transmission (MET) disponibles à l'UMS Castaing. Ce MET peut en particulier être équipé d'une source à émission de champ à cathode froide et être corrigé en sonde, être couplé à un spectromètre EDS SDD CENTURIO et à un spectromètre de perte d'énergie des électrons (EELS) GIF QUANTUM ER. Il permet ainsi la caractérisation structurale et chimique des échantillons à l’échelle atomique.
