Fourmis "Crematogaster margaritae" sur une liane "Keetia hispida"

Fourmis "Crematogaster margaritae" vivant dans les renflements creux d'une liane "Keetia hispida", dans la forêt tropicale humide au Cameroun. En échange du gîte, la colonie de fourmis protège la plante des herbivores. La cavité a été ouverte au couteau pour montrer les fourmis à l'intérieur.
