Martin Karplus, prix Nobel de chimie 2013, avec Michael Levitt et Arieh Warshel, pour leurs travaux sur la modélisation des réactions chimiques. Martin Karplus est Austro-Américain et professeur associé depuis 1995 à l'université de Strasbourg, à l'Institut de science et d'ingénierie supramoléculaires (CNRS/ Université de Strasbourg). Il est également professeur à Harvard.
