Ver filtreur spirographe, "Sabella spallanzanii", à la Station biologique de Roscoff, en mai 2012. Cet annélide polychète est un tubicole. On voit ici particulièrement bien son panache branchial. Le ver se construit un tube à base de calcaire, de roches et de mucus. Il ne laisse dépasser que ses tentacules avec lesquels il filtre l'eau afin de capturer le plancton dont il se nourrit. Cet animal fait partie des modèles biologiques utilisés dans le cadre de l'enseignement.
