Nanosphère, vecteur de médicament. Cette nanoparticule est constituée de polymères enchevêtrés formant un réseau matriciel (de type "pelote de laine"). Ces polymères sont de préférence biodégradables. Le médicament (ici en violet) est piégé et dispersé dans la matrice polymère. Son principe actif sera libéré par simple diffusion vers l'extérieur ou à la suite de sa biodégradation dans l'organisme. La taille d'une nanosphère varie entre 100 et 200 nm.
