Chou de Kerguelen, "Pringlea antiscorbutica", qui n'existe que sur les îles subantarctiques Marion, Crozet, Kerguelen et Heard dans l'océan Indien Austral. A Kerguelen, cette plante montre des signes de stress sous l'effet de sécheresses en rapport avec le changement climatique dans cette région. Ses capacités d'adaptation physiologique sont étudiées dans le cadre du programme Ecobio (Ecosystème, Biodiversité, Evolution) de l'Institut Polaire français.
