En salle blanche, phase finale d'intégration de l'instrumentation SAM-GC (Sample Analysis at Mars) pour la mission américaine MSL09 (Mars Science Laboratory 2009). Les modules de chromatographie sont en cours de montage sur leur interface mécanique. L'ensemble est amené à être monté sur la suite instrumentale SAM dédiée aux analyses minérales et atmosphériques de Mars. Cette suite instrumentale sera composée d'un spectromètre de masse, d'un spectromètre à absorption laser et d'un chromatographe en phase gazeuse, elle prendra place à l'avant du rover américain, qui doit se poser à la surface de Mars en 2010.
