Prélèvement de neige de surface aux environs de la station franco-italienne Concordia, en Antarctique, pour mesurer les concentrations en impuretés de la neige. L'isolement de l'Antarctique en fait un laboratoire naturel des activités biogéochimiques de la Terre. La faible teneur en impureté de la neige oblige l'opérateur à prendre les précautions nécessaires pour ne pas contaminer les échantillons.
