Canyon d'Itaimbezinho, Rio Grande do Sul, Brésil. Le canyon s'étend sur 5 800 m et sa largeur maximale atteint 2 000 m. Les parois rocheuses, taillées dans les épanchements basaltiques, ont une hauteur maximale de 720 m et sont couvertes par une végétation basse et des sapins locaux. Le nom du canyon vient du Tupi-Guarani : Ita signifie roche et A'ibe signifie pointu.
