Contreforts de "Sloanea sp.", en forêt guyanaise. Le contrefort est une crête de bois qui se développe dans l'angle que forme une racine latérale et la base du tronc d'un arbre afin d'en augmenter la stabilité latérale. On peut distinguer des zones écorcées où ont été mesurées les contraintes de croissance.
