Martin-pêcheur, "Halcyon senegalensis" (Alcedinidae), Nord-Est du Gabon. Migrateur afrotropical très commun de fin septembre à mi-mai, très rare en grande saison sèche. Fréquente essentiellement les défrichements, chasse à l'affût, c'est un solitaire. Il se nourrit de grands orthoptères.
