Imagerie pulmonaire chez l'homme par Résonance Magnétique (IRM) d'hélium gazeux hyperpolarisé : le sujet, allongé dans l'appareil d'IRM, inspire un mélange gazeux polarisé dont la répartition dans les poumons est visualisée. Une partie du dispositif de polarisation in situ est visible (au premier plan) ainsi que l'antenne thoracique utilisée pour détecter le signal du gaz.
