Signal moléculaire détecté en transmission d'une cavité Fabry-Perot (visible deux fois). Quand on balaye la fréquence du laser à CO2, il apparaît le signal de la cavité (large) au sommet duquel on voit un signal intense et très étroit : le signal créé par les molécules. Ce signal très stable sert de référence de fréquence pour contrôler la fréquence du laser.
