Structure cristallographique d'un alliage de niobium et d'étain Nb3Sn, un matériau supraconducteur. Les atomes de niobium sont en jaune, les atomes d'étain en vert. Ce matériau est notamment utilisé dans les câbles pour les technologies de RMN (Résonance Magnétique Nucléaire) et d'IRM (Imagerie par Résonance Magnétique).
