Longue marche matinale pour regagner les localités fossilifères près de Mogaung, petit village situé dans les montagnes ("Pondaung Range") au centre du Myanmar. Ce petit village est le point de chute, le laboratoire de campagne à partir duquel les chercheurs se rendent tous les matins à pied jusqu'aux localités fossilifères situées à environ 5 à 6 km à la ronde. Recherches paléontologiques sur l'origine asiatique des primates anthropoïdes, les premiers rameaux de nos origines.
