Machu Picchu. La ville consiste de deux grands secteurs : l'agricole (au deuxième plan), formée principalement par des terrasses et des enceintes de stockage d'aliments, et l'urbaine (au premier plan), où se situe la zone sacrée avec des temples, places et mausolées. Seulement environ 30% la ville est de construction originale, le reste a été reconstruit.
