Overview

The exhibition "Sport & science, strength in numbers" was designed by The CNRS in partnership with RATP. This fresco was displayed in the corridor of the Paris metro at Montparnasse-Bienvenüe station from May 11 to July 6, 2023. It has been awarded the "Cultural Olympiad" label by Paris 2024: https://olympiade-culturelle.paris2024.org/

In 2024, France will host the Summer Olympic Games - for the first time in 100 years - as well as the Summer Paralympic Games. A major festive event that intensely stimulates research. How can science benefit both professional and amateur athletes? What can be done to bring them to the top of their game? Why take an interest in the role of sport in our society? The CNRS encourages its laboratories to combine their expertise in all disciplines. The aim? To help athletes shine on the podium, but also to contribute to the well-being of all.
