Summary

The study of fluvial dynamics tries to draw up a balance of transfer, which permits to explain how the characteristics of a flow and the sediments transport are linked.

Film 1 – Measure of the characteristics of a river, on the ground.
Film 2 – Experience on a reduced model – Formation of meandering rivers.
Film 3 – Experience on a reduced model – Formation of braided rivers and modelizations.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
